SCBS President
I want to remind everyone about May
Movie Nights being held each Thursday in May at the Low
Key Arts Building (118 Arbor). Every Thursday in May a
different group or individual will host the Movie Night.
The SCBS will be hosting May 16, presenting the film
Honeydripper. Admission is free and you can bring your
own beverages if you’d like. I hope you can make it out.
I also want to remind everyone about tonight’s blues jam at
the Ohio Club. We have a blues jam each and every
Wednesday evening from 8 pm to midnight. It’s a $2 cover
to come in, free if you are an SCBS members or a jammer.
Pretty cheap for a night of entertainment, right?

SCBS Committees
Help Get the Job Done!
This year's standing committees are: Marketing &
PR-Mary Melton, chair; Fundraising & Events - need a chair; Membership -
need a chair; International Blues Challenge - Shannon Sabbatini, chair;
Blues in the Schools - Chad Carter, chair; and Development - Kelli
Albrect, chair.
If anyone is interested in chairing one of the open committees the only
requirement is that they be a SCBS member in good standing. The
committee chair can build their own committees, members or non-members.
